Coach Abby Chin Announced in the 2026 UAHS Athletic Hall of Fame

Congratulations, Coach Abby! Abby will be inducted into the UAHS Athletic Hall of Fame on January, 10th, 2026. 

"Abby Chin was a dominant force in the pool, securing four team state championships, four state relay championships from 2008 to 2011, and two state individual titles in the 200- and 500-yard freestyle in 2011. Throughout her high school career, she achieved top-eight finishes in all her events, earning 14 All-American honors. She was team captain. Abby set the school record in the 500 free, which she still holds today. She was also a Water Polo state team champion. Abby went on to compete at the University of Louisville, where she was two-time team captain and competed at two NCAA Championships, helping lead her team to a sixth-place national finish—the school’s best at the time. Abby also competed at three-time Olympic Trials (2008, 2012, 2016)."
